The meeting brought together technical teams from both institutions to exchange ideas, review ongoing initiatives and identify areas for strengthened coordination and collaboration across key UNESCO programme areas, including Education, Natural Sciences, Social and Human Sciences, Culture, World Heritage, and Communication and Information.
The engagement was held as part of efforts to strengthen regular technical dialogue, information sharing and coordinated implementation of UNESCO programmes in Tanzania.
Through the exchange, the two institutions discussed ongoing priorities, emerging opportunities and areas of mutual interest, laying a basis for continued technical engagement and collaboration in support of UNESCO’s mandate and Tanzania’s development priorities.
