In a strategic step towards greater transparency and consistency, the Mining Commission, through its Communication and Public Relations Unit, has unveiled its Communication Strategy and Brand Manual at the Arusha Resident Mines Office.
The initiative aims to standardize messaging, reinforce the Commission’s professional image, and deepen trust with stakeholders across Tanzania’s mining sector.
“With one voice and one brand, we are redefining how we connect with our stakeholders and the public,” said a Commission spokesperson during the awareness session.
Vision: A hub for exploration and sustainable mining in Africa.
Mission: To manage the mining industry through supervision, monitoring, and regulation of exploration, mining, beneficiation, and mineral trade for sustainable development.
This awareness campaign is part of a wider Ministry of Minerals drive to promote transparent, efficient, and responsible governance in the mining industry.
